Refund / Cancellation Policy
Starter policy · September 26, 2026
This is a starter document for LaunchPixel’s planned services. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed and finalized for actual business practices before accepting payments.
Before a project starts
The written quote or project agreement should set payment stages, deliverables, cancellation arrangements, and any deposit before payment is accepted. This starter policy must be confirmed for the specific engagement.
One-time website development
If you cancel, LaunchPixel will review the work completed and any approved, nonrecoverable costs. Payment for work already performed may remain due. Any unused prepaid amount should be reconciled against the agreed scope and completed work, with the resulting refund or balance explained in writing. Development fees are not treated as a recurring subscription.
Recurring website management
Website management is $99 per month when agreed. You may request cancellation through the contact channel used for the engagement. The agreement should state the billing date and effective cancellation date. Future recurring charges should stop from that agreed date, with written confirmation.
Unused prepaid management
Any request concerning an unused prepaid period will be assessed against services already supplied, hosting commitments, the written agreement, and applicable consumer rights. A cancellation request does not automatically erase charges for services already delivered.
Third-party costs
Domain purchases, premium software, external hosting commitments, and similar third-party costs may be governed by the provider’s refund rules. Any nonrefundable third-party expense should be disclosed and approved before purchase. LaunchPixel should explain these costs when reconciling a cancellation.
Handover and continuity
Before management ends, the parties should agree on export, transfer, account access, and the date hosting or support will end. Ownership and access depend on the project agreement and third-party licenses. Please arrange replacement hosting before the agreed shutdown date to avoid interruption.
Concerns about delivered work
If work does not match the agreed scope, describe the concern in writing so it can be reviewed and an appropriate remedy discussed. This policy does not limit rights or remedies required by applicable law.
